Restaurant recommendation...

For our *gulp* 1st anniversary, Joe and I went to EVOO, a local place I'd heard good things about (Thanks noire!). We had the seven course tasting menu with wines and I have one thing to say about it... Foodgasm.

Wow. I had a couple firsts; oysters and rabbit. The oysters were breaded which disguised the oyster-ness of them and it was also the first course so I didn't want to be picky right off the bat. I don't think I have the stomach in the literal and metaphorical sense to eat them off the shell just yet, but they were tasty. Rabbit was good. I have no difficulty eating cute fuzzy bunnies because there isn't any shortage of them. Or maybe I'm just evil (see last entry :)... They gave us some spicy ribs with a hint of orange that were quite yummy and lots of other courses that are now all a blur of tastiness and wine.

I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for a special evening.
